Story

Clay's Query is a dark, methodical survival journey where a living clay figure traverses an indifferent world to ask its creator why it was made.

Gameplay

A top-down, click-to-move survival journey. Guide a living clay figure through an atmospheric, decaying world using a pure single-click control scheme. 

Navigate hazardous terrain, push and slide heavy blocks to clear your path, and interact with your environment by picking up and throwing heavy clay pots or defusing volatile boss-thrown bombs before they detonate.

Dev's Note

Pre-alpha prototype — Still being molded.
Notice: Clay's Query is currently an early prototype and is actively in development. Core mechanics like movement, object throwing, and block sliding are functional, but art, levels, and features are subject to change as we build out the full world.

🕹️ How to Play

• Move: Left-click anywhere on the ground to guide your clay figure through the world.
• Interact & Carry: Left-click on heavy pots or boss-thrown clay bombs when close to pick them up.
• Throw: Left-click on an enemy while holding a pot or a bomb to hurl it at them.
• Solve Puzzles: Push and slide heavy blocks across the terrain, dropping them into pits or onto switches to open up new paths.
