Battery Powered Tranq Pistol


The Tranq Shotgun was a big eye sore to me as I was making the early access content.

I couldn't wait to work on the actual game tech later on.

I knew that I was for the electric powered sci-fi weapons, but I needed to know how I was going to get the fps gameplay to be unique compared to other fps hits.
Doom, Halo, Counter Strike...etc. I am thinking of how these games are great at just focusing on unloading on waves of enemies. I want the project to feel more like a game that's rewarding based on your adventuring and cleverness. Not like a puzzle, but an adventure that just unfolds with you at the helm.

So, allow me to introduce a new mechanic that I've been working on for a while. A couple of youtubers started saying something that was so dangerously close to what I was doing that I am now typing this. The Battery Powered Tranq Pistol! Time ticks down the brightness of the light and how many shots you have.




Notice that over time your light's strength and the amount of shots that can be generated slowly lowers. Think of it as a laser pistol that uses quantum mechanics to cause an electric charge pellet to fire from the generation point.
